The Arizona Diamondbacks came into Game Three of the National League Championship Series looking terribly as they looked like a team that was just happy to be there rather than one that belongs in the same stratosphere as the Philadelphia Phillies.
On Thursday, the Diamondbacks arrived back home at Chase Field down in the NLCS 2-0 to the Philadelphia Phillies, and controversy had already started before the game.
One of the big stories was Phillies fans reserving seats at Chase Field just to keep Diamondbacks fans out of them, according to PhillyVoice’s Shamus Clancy.
When 2 p.m. in Arizona rolled around, Chase Field did not look filled up at all.
After winning the game, the Diamondbacks’ Twitter account attempted to clap back at Phillies fans.

That tweet did not go over well as fans blasted them.
The Diamondbacks ranked 20th in the MLB with an average attendance of approximately 24,000 during the 2023 season, according to ESPN.
After a 5-3 win and 10-0 blowout in Games 1 and 2, the Phillies finally faced defeat but still hold a 2-1 series lead.
