Los Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon might be in some hot water after getting physical with a fan in the wake of a loss on Thursday.
The former World Series champion was exiting the field post losing to the Oakland A’s and was caught on camera grabbing one of the latter’s supporters before taking a swing at his face. A clearly upset Rendon accused the fan of calling him a “b*tch” after grabbing his shirt and then taking a swipe at the male, who managed to get out of the way.
“You called me a b*tch, huh?” he asked angrily.
“Yeah, you did. Yeah, you did. Yeah, motherf**ker,” he continued after the guy denied it.
Get your bitch-ass out of here” he said after swinging and missing, then he headed to the locker room.
As of Friday morning, the Angels had not offered comment on the incident and it was unclear whether they were even aware. It’s unlikely that they’re still in the dark at this point, however.

Meanwhile, the Oakland Police Department has disclosed there’s no investigation ongoing as no one made a report.
Rendon, who signed a seven-year deal worth $245 million with the Angels, has had a frustrating time since leaving the Washington Nationals in 2019. He has been limited to just 158 games over the last four years due to various injuries.
