“A-Rod will not give up on his and J. Lo’s relationship,” a source tells Us Weekly exclusively. “He is willing to do anything to make it work.”
Alex Rodriguez feels like therer is some unfinished business that he and Jennifer Lopez need to finish, and he is not willing to let their relationship go down in the dumps without a fight.
The former MLB all-star and the actress and singer started dating in 2017 and got engaged two years later. The global pandemic put everything to a halt and splitting rumors would surface after cheating allegations came about.
In March, the two confirmed that they were officially going their separate ways.
“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,” they said in a joint statement to the Today show on April 15. “We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”
Two weeks after the split, the both of them were spotted dining together at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles — reportedly the same place they had their first date in 2017.

“A-Rod flew to L.A. on Thursday night to see her,” the source explains. “J. Lo still doesn’t trust A-Rod all the way. She’s very skeptical, but she heard him out because she still has a lot of love for him.”
Lopez “is not convinced yet” that she and her ex-fiancé can turn things around, however, the former New York Yankees star “is determined to win her back.”
A separate source added, “Whether or not he has cheated doesn’t matter. She won’t tolerate the fear of it in the air between them”
The day before their breakup announcement, Alex Rodriguez posted a video to Instagram Stories that featured a series of photos from happier days.
