Jennifer Lopez has officially surpassed Tom Brady in rings won during her career as a dating partner. Just months after breaking up with longtime partner Alex Rodriguez, the legendary music icon got engaged to former flame and Hollywood actor Ben Affleck.
Michael Kay of ESPN New York and the YES Network was more than happy to bring that up during yesterday’s Yankees-Red Sox game.
Kay took a dig at A-Rod’s love life by talking about “people getting engaged” amid this “great time in sports.”
“It’s a great time in sports,” Kay said. “We have a new Masters champion. The NBA playoffs are about to start. Baseball in full swing. People getting engaged! It’s a happy time in the world.”
A-Rod couldn’t help but to smile and laugh.
Alex Rodriguez began dating Jennifer Lopez in 2017 with the two getting engaged in 2019. However, rampant cheating rumors surfaced and the pair would split.
