Alex Bregman’s fiancée clearly saw the newest trend on social media where people are putting a piece of hard pasta in their mouth, asking somebody to help with their back or neck, and then crunching down on it to make it appear that they broke something.
Reagan Howard recently trolled the Astros’ third baseman with the at-home prank and posted it to TikTok.
“Alex, come here, my neck is killing me, can you help me crack it?” Reagan said in the clip, telling the slugger, “It hurts so bad.”
As Bregman moved her head, Howard crunched down on the pasta, making him flinch like crazy.
“Stupid!” Bregman said.
The Astros star is coming from an offseason of controversy after the franchise was exposed for cheating in 2017. The players didn’t get punished, but the 2020 season was supposed to be hell for them on the road with opposing fan bases.
