Major League Baseball star Albert Pujols and his wife, Deidre, will be getting a divorce after being married for over two decades. It’s not exactly shocking news that two people grew apart, but what made it that way is the fact that Pulojs made this announcement just days after she had brain surgery.
Deidre Pujols announced that she was undergoing brain surgery last week for a tumor first discovered last fall.
Over the weekend, she spoke about her successful procedure.
“Whether God healed me supernaturally or a doctor had to go in and get out this creepy invader, it is a miracle! The fact that they can open my head and get out the bad stuff and put it all back together blows my mind.
I am grateful for Dr. Louis and the whole Hoag hospital staff who saved my life and cared for me after such a major surgery. I plan to continue to get strong and continue to live my life’s mission out fully! Thank you to all who prayed and loved me through this.”
