There aren’t many Major League Baseball sluggers who can say they have the strike zone that Aaron Judge has to deal with on a nightly basis. It comes with the territory of being a huge guy.
During his first at-bat on Friday, the New York Yankees slugger got struck out from a pitch that was well below his knees.
He was not going to deal with that again.
In an effort to avoid suffering the same fate his next time at the plate, Judge raised his socks all the way above his knee to change his strike zone.
He would finish the game with his 11th home run of the season, 2 walks, and 2 runs batted in. Seems like it worked out for him.
