6ix9ine has lost his respect, with many fans turning against him for “snitching.” And it showed during a baseball game on Friday.
The rapper, also known as Tekashi69, was in attendance when Mexico played Puerto Rico in the World Baseball Classic at LoanDepot Park in Miami. And, during what appeared to be a verbal altercation between himself and some fans, almost got hit full in the face with a beer can.
The 26-year-old was waving the Mexican flag when the can flew right by him. The video below shows a male wearing a red jersey and a black cap throwing the object. 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, is said to have been moved to a different seat by park officials afterward. But he may have also gotten thrown out of the game.
Baseball journo Aram Leighton, who shared the video, noted that the spat stemmed from 6ix9ine simply being disliked.
Although he wasn’t well received by fans, David Ortiz seemed pleased enough to meet Tekashi when he ran into him in an elevator. Big Papi, as he’s also known, was entering the crowded space when the rapper offered him a salute before they shared a quick embrace.

Where the game is concerned, Mexico came from behind to eliminate Mexico. So Tekashi must have left the venue in a much better mood (if he left on his own accord) and probably went somewhere else to cause some havoc.
