The driver of a Ford Bronco was apparently unhinged and took said vehicle off-road and onto the golf course this week.
While golf is a non-contact sport, and there are hardly any injuries taking place on courses, things can get out of hand sometimes as players can get extra competitive and take things too far. We’ve seen a good few fights take place out on the green, but this latest incident put all of them in the shade.
A game in Delaware went way south as someone decided to launch at a pair of golf carts with an SUV, resulting in a crash that could have been very serious.
The driver of a blue Ford Bronco swerved onto the course and tried running over a pair of carts, hitting one of them and causing one person to be ejected onto the grass.
The whole thing was caught on camera, with the video below showing someone being narrowly missed as he got out of the way just in time.

The guy who ran out of the way has since offered an explanation, claiming he was trying to get the vehicle’s plate after the driver was seen doing donuts on the course before they tried running him over.
The Driver Who Ran Into A Golf Cart Has Since Been Arrested
The driver of the vehicle in question fled the scene, but he was eventually caught and is now facing multiple charges, including DUI and reckless endangerment.
Fortunately for the golfers, no one suffered any serious injuries.
The incident took place at the Deerfield Golf Course in Newark, Delaware, earlier in the week.
The driver is probably going to be hit with more charges as the course owners are likely to want him taken to task over damage.
What a way to take things overboard.
