Tiger Woods enjoyed a record day at The Masters on Friday, but it was not without its mistakes, as he knocked a fan out cold in the process.
The golf icon had a very enjoyable day two at Augusta National and has broken the record for most consecutive cuts made at the tournament. He sat at 1-over par with a chance to win a record sixth green jacket heading into the weekend.
“It means I have a chance going into the weekend,’’ he said, per the New York Post. “I’m here. I have a chance to win the golf tournament. I got my two rounds in. I just need some food and some caffeine, and I’ll be good to go.’’
As noted above, one of his shots conked an onlooker, causing them to fall to the ground. The rogue hit came off a tee, flying across the fairways from the trees to take the unfortunate fan out.

Woods had to complete the last five holes of his first round on Friday after play was suspended because of weather and darkness the previous day. He closed out an opening-round 1-over par 73 before shooting an even-par in his second round.
Tiger Woods Set An Impressive Record On Day Two
Tiger Woods’ 24th consecutive made cut passed the record shared by Fred Couples, who is a close friend, and Gary Player.
“As soon as I’m done with you guys, I’ll be able to text Freddy and give him a little needle,’’ he told reporters.
“I’m right there. I’m only eight [shots] back as of right now,” he said when asked for an assessment of his performance. “I don’t think anyone is going to run off and hide right now, but it’s really bunched. The way the ball is moving on the greens, chip shots are being blown, it’s all you want in a golf course today.’’
Woods hopes to make up for last year after withdrawing from the 2023 Masters because of the cold, rainy conditions and his ailments. The 2019 winner has only completed one 72-hole full-field tournament in two years.
