Social media had a lot to say about former United States President Donald Trump’s putting stroke after a video of his routine surfaced online.
Despite being on the campaign trail, Trump’s golfing is being talked about as he’s challenged current POTUS Joe Biden to a game.
Interest in his golf game stirred even more after he played a two-man scramble with two-time major winner Bryson DeChambeau for a YouTube video.
His putting stroke seemed to be the most intriguing part due to how strange it looked.

“His putting isn’t good, his stroke is freakish, his wedges are actually even worse but he genuinely drove the ball really well. 225 down the middle every hole as a 78 year old is crazy,” a user wrote in the comments.

“My dad’s putting stroke leaves a lot to be desired but it’s better than this. What is that follow through?,” one bewildered fan asked.
“I spent 90% of the video wondering how he had such consistent pace with a stroke uglier than Charles Barkley’s,” someone else wrote.
“They went 22 under par and anyone who’s ever played golf will tell you a lot of those putts are pretty good lol, he also did not miss a fairway,” someone observed.
“This is the worst putting stroke I’ve ever seen yet every one of them is a solid putt,” a fan said.
“What’s with the wrist break on the putting stroke? I’ve seen that before from 8 year olds in kids clinics. That is not the putting stroke of a 2 handicap,” another remarked.
“For a guy who plays more golf than almost anyone on earth his swings/strokes are brutally ugly… but somehow work,” one pointed out.
Donald Trump Actually Did Very Well, As Some Fans Pointed Out
While Trump’s putting is pretty unusual, he was hardly overshadowed by DeChambeau. Both of them registered a 22-under 50 and came just a stroke shy of breaking 50, which they set out to do in the video.
