LIV golfer and former PGA star Jon Rahm was caught swearing at a fan out of immense frustration during Saturday’s round of the LIV Golf United Kingdom tournament.
Jon Rahm controversially left the PGA for LIV Golf last year, even though he was one of the top players on the former. Rahm won the 2021 U.S. Open and the 2023 Masters, and the departures of several other prominent PGA players for LIV Golf opened the door for Rahm to add more majors to his trophy room.
The 29-year-old Rahm has struggled mightily on the greens since joining LIV Golf on a deal that ESPN reported was worth over $300 million.
During round two of the LIV Golf United Kingdom event on Saturday, Jon Rahm lost in on a fan while preparing to hit a difficult chip shot on the 16th hole.
Just as Rahm was getting ready to hit, the fan noise around him increased to the point where he had to step off. A visibly agitated Rahm glared over at the fan and was heard giving a NSFW message:
“Yell on our f**ing backswing you d**khead,” Rahm can be heard saying:

Those who play golf regularly know how badly it can throw you off when loud noise forces you to step off the ball just as you’re about to hit. Jon Rahm couldn’t shake off the distraction, as he hit a rather poor chip shot after berating the fan.
Jon Rahm’s Decision To Join LIV Golf Was Shocking To Many
In 2022, Rahm stated on several instances that he had no plans to join LIV Golf, citing their tournament format while stressing that money didn’t matter to him.
But Rahm ultimately couldn’t resist the nine-figure contract from LIV Golf. Just as Phil Mickelson, Justin Johnson, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Patrick Reed, Bryson DeChambeau, Cameron Smith, Louis Oosthuizen, Henrik Stenson and Branden Grace couldn’t.
