LIV golfer Bryson DeChambeau would not let a greedy grownup take away a special memory and souvenir from a young fan during the final round of the 2024 PGA Championship.
Bryson DeChambeau had an excellent showing at the PGA Championship, held at the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky. He finished second with a score of 20 under, finishing just one stroke behind victor Xander Schauffele.
Aside from his strong performance on the greens, DeChambeau took a few seconds to make sure that a young fan would have the moment of a lifetime while he was walking off the ninth hole.
Twitter/X user @asreynolds24 shared a video of DeChambeau attempting to throw a golf ball to a young fan nearby. An adult intercepted the souvenir, but DeChambeau came over and ordered the man to return the ball to the kid. The adult quickly complied:

The 2020 U.S. Open winner had a strong finish on Sunday (a score of 64) to put the pressure on Schauffele. But the latter just barely made his birdie putt on the final hole to secure his first major championship, preventing a tiebreaker with “The Scientist.”
Bryson DeChambeau Aims For Second Major Next Month
The former No. 4 ranked golfer in the world has been off to a strong start in the young 2024 PGA Tour campaign. He finished in a tie for sixth place at the 2024 Masters with a score of two under, as Scottie Scheffler (11 under) emerged victorious to claim his second green jacket.
Fortunately for DeChambeau, he won’t have to wait long for his next attempt to secure a second major victory. The 2024 U.S. Open will run from June 13-16 at the legendary Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
