Rachel Uchitel, a former mistress of Tiger Woods, has spoken exclusively to the Daily Mail, discussing the nondisclosure agreement she signed shortly after her affair with the golfer was made public.
Uchitel’s relationship with Woods sprouted while the latter was married to Elin Nordegren and was the reason for their split in 2010 after six years of marriage.
According to Rachel, the NDA ruined her life as she was unable to defend herself from public attacks on her character but was also forced to cover up Woods’s “bad behavior” and went bankrupt as he relentlessly made her the subject of court cases.
Woods is now in another NDA battle as his most recent ex-girlfriend Erica Herman has sued him in an attempt to have one overturned.
The golfer is also being sued for “extreme emotional damage” while it’s been revealed that she’s claiming Woods kicked her out of their mansion in Hobe Sound, Florida by tricking her into taking a vacation and then telling her she could not return home once she got to the airport.
While there are similarities in the situations pertaining to the two women, the former mistress says the circumstances are different as she was pressured into signing an NDA while the recently estranged GF signed hers voluntarily.

“There are people who get into relationships with celebrities and they go to work for celebrities,” she said. “They sign the NDA beforehand – this is what Erica did. She signed that.
“Then there are NDAs after the fact: they are people who have been involved in or witnessed an event, who agree not to talk about a behavior or an incident to participate in a cover up, so to speak. Those are completely different types of NDAs.”
She added the following:
“I want people to be aware that when somebody goes to work for or gets involved in a relationship with a celebrity, you are signing that because you witness a lot of things that are private about somebody who’s very public in their lives and they want to keep it that way for a number of different reasons. That’s why you sign that.
“The question is, is it fair to come out after the fact and say now I want to make that null and void?
“That’s a very different thing than, I signed an NDA to cover up bad behavior.”
Rachel’s affair with Woods happened 14 years ago but she says her 10-year-old daughter has been abused at school as a result, while she’s upset the golfer has revived his career while she’s had to shoulder the blame for his marriage ending.
“I will not be gagged because it is the worst feeling, the worst feeling to have your voice tied and to not be able to tell your side of the story,” she continued. “In the absence of truth, people make up anything they want and that is so debilitating. You lose all sense of power, all sense of self-esteem and people judge you not based on facts.
“It’s not a way to live and it really can ruin your life and it’s not worth the money. Ever. It was not worth it because so many of those things said were not true.”
