Tiger Woods is taking his golfing gloves off and swinging back at his ex-girlfriend.
Woods is slamming Erica Herman as nothing more than a “jilted ex-girlfriend” in their ongoing legal battle to nullify an NDA over a sexual assault clause.
In court documents, the golfer claimed Herman had no right to invoke the federal Speak Out Act because he never committed any sexual wrongdoing.
Woods pointed out that in the $30 million lawsuit Herman filed, in which she claims the athlete kicked her out of his home and broke an “oral tenancy agreement,” she checked the box for “No” when asked “does this case involve allegations of sexual abuse.”
Woods’ lawyers called Herman’s case against the golfer “a transparent abuse of the judicial process that undermines the purpose of the federal statute and those whom the statute seeks to protect.”
Herman cited the Speak Out Act as a reason to get out from under the nondisclosure agreement she says she was forced to sign when she worked as a restaurant manager for Woods’ eatery in Florida.

She also added how she was tricked to leave the home and was locked out upon her return. She is seeking $30 million in damages.
“Ms. Herman is a not a victim of sexual assault or abuse sought to be protected by Congress when enacting the statute,” Woods’ lawyers said in Monday’s filings. “Rather, Ms. Herman is a jilted ex-girlfriend who wants to publicly litigate specious claims in court, rather than honor her commitment to arbitrate disputes in a confidential arbitration proceeding.”
Woods is requesting the Florida court to force Herman, whom he dated for six years, to abide by the NDA’s arbitration provisions.
