Folks are convinced that U.S. President Joe Biden lied about his golf game during Thursday night’s presidential debate with Republican nominee Donald Trump.
Joe Biden is seeking a second term in office this November. The 81-year-old is running against Donald Trump, the former president whom Biden defeated in the 2020 presidential election.
As with their previous debates in 2020, tension and rebukes were aplenty between Biden and Trump, things even got personal, to the point where they started to argue about who the better golfer was.
Joe Biden questioned Donald Trump’s height and weight, stating “Just take a look at what he says he is and take a look at what he is.” Biden then claimed he’s a six handicap in golf before challenging Trump to a match if he’ll carry his own bag.
This bizarre disagreement about golf ended after Trump criticized Biden’s swing. Finally, the moderators got the two back on track:

Donald Trump owns 19 golf courses, including Trump National Golf Club courses in Jupiter, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Washington, West Palm Beach and Balmedie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Trump regularly golfs with some of the top players in the world.
The 78-year-old Trump made countless headlines for his frequent golfing during his term as president. It’s estimated that he played around 260-307 rounds of golf in his term in office (2017 to 2021).

The 2024 United States presidential election will mark the first “rematch” since 1956, when Dwight D. Eisenhower defeated Adlai Stevenson II a second time.
Like in 2016, Trump ran away with the Republican nomination without serious competition. In 2020, he became the first president to lose his re-election campaign since George H.W. Bush, who was defeated by Bill Clinton.
This year’s election will be held on Nov. 5. In 2020, Biden won 51.3 percent of the votes and picked up 306 electoral votes.
