Tiger Woods’ win at the Masters came with overwhelming support from the media and his fans.
Some of the biggest supporters came from athletes from other sports. Woods won his first major in 11 years and his first Masters tournament in 14 years, which prompted many such as Stephen Curry to take to Twitter to congratulate him.
Given his past, Curry made one grave mistake:
Anybody else tweeting out this same thing could’ve skated by without any backlash, but Stephen Curry should’ve left this one alone.
Social media quickly reminded Curry that the Golden State Warriors blew a 3-1 series lead in the NBA Finals to LeBron James & the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Nah 3-1
