One spectator at the Waste Management Open in Phoenix, Arizona got more than he bargained for today.
A viral video shows the fan (clearly inebriated) walking around on the sidelines before unfortunately slipping in the mud and getting himself all dirty.
Seemingly unbothered, he gets back up and manages to fall two more times…while other fans take out their cell phones to record the fiasco. Another spectator finally comes over at the end to apparently offer a hand.
Unfortunately, a large portion of the crowd at the event got so out-of-control drunk on Saturday that alcohol sales and gates had to be closed.
The Waste Management Open, known officially as the Phoenix Open, takes place during Super Bowl weekend every year. The tournament is held annually at the luxurious TPC Scottsdale golf complex in Scottsdale, Arizona.
