Here’s some good news from the world of golf. Footage surfaced from TMZ yesterday showing Tiger Woods walking around in Los Angeles. Yes, he does have a noticeable limp, but just the fact that he’s able to make it around on his own two feet without a cane or crutches at this point in his rehabilitation is great to see.
According to TMZ, the footage was taken Sunday evening, outside his hotel in Los Angeles. Woods had just arrived at the hotel, so perhaps he was still a little stiff from the plane and/or car ride.
Woods is still recovering from the brutal single car crash he was involved in back on February 23. The legendary golfer was lucky to be alive following the accident that saw him veer off the road. He was forced to undergo emergency surgery at the time, which require the insertion of a rod to stabilize his tibia, and a combination of rods and screws to repair his foot and ankle.
Whether Woods ever fully recovers and is able to golf again at the professional level is anyone’s guess at this point, but it sure is great to see him walking around under his own power less than a year after that scary crash.
