Fans are worried about golf legend Tiger Woods after the 48-year-old was forced to withdraw from the 2024 Genesis Invitational due to an illnes.
The official PGA Tour X/Twitter account announced at 4:43 p.m. EST that Woods had to with withdraw from the tournament that is organized by the Tiger Woods foundation.

An ambulance was spotted at the Riviera Country Club, the venue for the tournament. According to Sean Zak of Golf Magazine, however, nobody was taken away in the ambulance.
Unfortunately, Woods’ career has been largely marred by injuries over the past decade. Before injuries began to pile up, he was in line to break Jack Nicklaus’ record (18) for most major golf titles on the PGA Tour.
Woods’ victory at the 2019 Masters pushed him to 15 career majors, but he hasn’t come close to another ever since.
Woods, who turned 48 years of age in December, is still courageously trying to fight through his plethora of injuries and remain on the tour as he nears his 50th birthday. Here’s hoping the illness is nothing serious, and that he’ll be ready for the 2024 Masters.
