United States President Donald Trump has been accused of cheating his way to a golf championship, or at least lying about it.
Trump, who is preparing to return to office after beating Kamala Harris in the recent presidential elections, has been named the winner of the Senior Club Championship at his Trump International course in West Palm Beach.
However, according to the Palm Beach Post, no one saw him play.
‘Shark Tank’ host Kevin O’Leary took to social media on Sunday to share that Trump had won the tournament over the weekend, having shot 4-under 68. A photo of the 11 players’ scores also surfaced on Instagram, showing him four shots ahead of the field.
Per reports, the President-elect was “not being known to have played in the tournament until his name was spotted atop of the leaderboard.”
It’s also said that “it caused surprise among attendees and followers of the event.”

Furthermore, Trump, who has always boasted of his golf prowess and achievements, has not mentioned the round.
Donald Trump Wins Golf Tournaments In Mysterious Ways
In 2023, Trump announced having won said championship, but contestants were surprised to see him in the lead when they arrived on the second day.
Reports claimed he didn’t play in the first round and told organizers he had played a strong round two days before the start of the tournament and decided it would count towards his championship score.
He posted about winning the Senior Club Championship at his Bedminster club in New Jersey with a 67 later that year. Curiously, only six golfers shot 67 or lower when LIV Golf hosted an event at the same club that same month.
