Brooks Koepka’s wife Jena Sims has explained her absence during his PGA Championship win, and it makes total sense.
Sims was not around to witness her husband’s win in person on Sunday but her excuse for missing the feat is one we’ll just have to accept.
The model has her own thing going on and was part of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition launch event in Florida on the weekend, with the 2023 iteration of the magazine dropping last week.
She made it back home in time to watch Koepka win his fifth major on television, however. And she’s since claimed that she had to set up some space for the new trophy.
You could see her quip in the video right below:
Sunday marked Koepka’s third PGA Championship win, while he’s also won two U.S. Open titles.

His coach Pete Cowen reckons he can go match golfing greats Ben Hogan and Gary Player following his fifth major. Hogan and Player both won nine majors; and Cowen, who coaches Koepka’s short game, has declared the 33-year-old could catch them.
“He will win a lot more,” the coach was quoted as saying. “I certainly think he will go another four and he would obviously like a grand slam. Look at how many times he has been second or just missed out already. I thought he was an unbelievable player in 2018-2019 and he has got stronger.”
Jena’s probably not going to want to miss that ninth one if it does come to that.
