A legend was lost today as beloved “The Price Is Right” host Bob Barker passed away at the age of 99.
Everyone, of course, will always remember Barker for his work on the popular gameshow, where he made a name for himself over the course of 35 years. But it’s also fair to say that some sports fans will remember him most for his appearance in the golf-themed comedy, “Happy Gilmore.”
In the movie, Barker makes a cameo as the playing partner of Happy Gilmore (played by Adam Sandler) in a Pro-Am Tournament.
The result is one of the most memorable scenes in the movie, as Barker becomes agitated with Gilmore’s poor play, resulting in a fight between the two on the course.
When news broke of Barker’s passing earlier today, many sports fans on social media immediately thought about Barker’s famous scene in “Happy Gilmore.”
