Chael Sonnen has warned Jake Paul on how he’s in a lose-lose situation for his upcoming fight against Mike Tyson.
Following his professional bout against Ryan Bourland earlier this month, Paul announced his next fight. The announcement shook up the world as ‘The Problem Child’ revealed that he would take on Mike Tyson next.
The fight will take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on July 20th. Ahead of the fight, many people have given their opinions on the fight. Interestingly not everyone is impressed with the matchup and Jake Paul has heavily been criticised for fighting a 57-year-old retired fighter.

Speaking about the same during a recently uploaded video on his YouTube channel, UFC veteran Chael Sonnen has also given his thoughts. Sonnen spoke about how Paul has gotten himself into a lose-lose situation. He suggested that fans will criticise Paul even if he wins or loses the fight and said:
“You’ve got a double-lose situation. You lose, we all laugh and tell you you’re terrible. You win we hate you because we like him.”

Conor McGregor speaks about a potential fight against Jake Paul and KSI
The influencer boxing scene has grown tremendously over the years. At the forefront of the rise has been Jake Paul who has fought the biggest names in the world of combat sports. Another one of the names that pop up when you speak influencer boxing is KSI.
Interestingly, the two seemed to have even caught the attention of Conor McGregor. During a recent interview with SXSW Film, ‘The Notorious’ spoke about the same. Moreover, he gave his thoughts on a potential second venture into boxing against them.
While suggesting that he would never say never, Conor McGregor said:
“The YouTuber nerds could be like – I would consider that a nixer… I would consider them guys to be nixers. If I were to pick one, KSI would have a big name in the UK. The Pauls, that [Mike] Tyson fight is a strange one to me, I hope Tyson takes his nose off… They’re handy fights. I know that [Tommy] Fury called me out today or yesterday and he beat Jake and fought KSI… I’m open for it, I’ll never say no.”

It is worth noting that Conor McGregor made his boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather back in 2017. While he suffered a TKO loss in what has been his sole venture into boxing, it will be interesting to see if he does return to the squared circle in the future.
