YouTuber MrBeast’s new game show has been at the center of controversy after contestants accused the production of creating unsafe filming conditions.
According to Prime Video’s “Beast Games” description, the show begins with 1,000 contestants fighting for a final $5 million cash prize.
The contest is displayed over 10 episodes, and contestants are narrowed down through a variety of physical and mental challenges.
If you need an example of what it entails, “Beast Games” is a combination of Netflix’s “Squid Game, Fear Factor, and Survivor.”
YouTube creator James Donaldson, more popularly known as MrBeast, is the host of the new competition series.
He is serious about dishing out that $5 million. He wants to ensure that nobody has sticky fingers while the game show is going on, so he hired full-time security to guard the cash.

MrBeast Has Done Everything To Distance Himself From Sexual Misconduct Allegations
Popular YouTuber and philanthropist MrBeast almost ended his social media career after facing a class-action lawsuit concerning alleged workplace abuses on his reality show, Beast Games.
Last month, James Donaldson fired as many as 10 employees after a third-party probe found some instances of harassment and misconduct.
A nearly three-month investigation found no basis behind allegations that MrBeast team members committed sexual misconduct or “knowingly” employed people with “proclivities or histories towards illegal or questionable legal conduct.”
MrBeast has largely remained silent on the matters and continued to do what he always does and as his follower count continues to grow on YouTbe.
Donaldson took to X and added that he was “asked to refrain from making public statements to enable a detailed and unbiased investigation” during the investigation.
He also said: “The law firm/investigators reviewed millions of documents/messages and conducted 39 interviews.”
