High school star pitcher Kade Johnson has quickly become an internet sensation after a viral video emerged of him vomiting as he was delivering a pitch.
Kade Johnson is a 17-year-old right-handed pitcher who attends The Woodlands Christian Academy in The Woodlands, Texas. The 6-foot-tall, 192-pound Johnson throws a fastball that’s been clocked at 89.4 MPH, per PrepBaseball Report.
Johnson is also part of the Hunter Pence Baseball Academy run by former four-time MLB All-Star and two-time World Series champion Hunter Pence. The Hunter Pence 2025 Greene squad recently competed against Trosky Texas Ina/Mathis in the 17U WWBA South World Series.
The 324Sports X/Twitter account posted a viral clip of Kade Johnson vomiting while he was delivering a pitch to a Trosky Texas Ina/Mathis hitter:

In some recent cases of athletes vomiting during games? Canadian triathlete made headlines when he was seen puking excessively after swimming in the Seine River:

Kade Johnson Isn’t The Only Pitcher To Puke On The Mound
As hard as it is to believe, Johnson isn’t the only baseball pitcher who recently made headlines by puking while on the mound. In a June 25 game against the Pittsburgh Pirates, star pitcher Hunter Greene had to pause and let it out of his system after delivering a 95 MPH fastball to Bryan Reynolds.
Johnson is one of the top high school baseball prospects in the country. Yet, he has already become semi-famous for…puking while throwing a pitch. Hey, it’s not something you see every day.
