Oregon Men Located In Heavily Wooded Area After Trying To Find Sasquatch
The Associated Press reports that the men were found in a heavily wooded area of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, around 150 miles northeast of Portland, after a three-day search. They are believed to have gone into the forest to seek out the aforementioned urban legend, which is popular in the Pacific Northwest.
It took quite an effort to locate the Oregon natives, with 60 search-and-rescue personnel, including canine, drone, and ground teams, taking to the woods in search of them. The Coast Guard also assisted with infrared technology from the air.
