Police appear to be closing in on the identity of the man who is alleged to have gunned down UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in Midtown Manhattan.
On the outside looking in, he appeared to do everything right in order to conceal his identity.
Unfortunately, not many men can resist the temptation of an attractive woman, and the man may end up getting caught up in what he did towards a woman before he carried out his mission.
Before the unidentified man shot and killed Brian Thompson in a “targeted attack” on Wednesday morning in New York City, he began flirting with the woman who checked him into the hostel, police sources told ABC News.
CNN’s John Miller reported the suspect flirted with a female employee at the hostel and even showed his face and smile to her, which is now in surveillance screenshots that can be used to identify him.
The man, whose name has not been identified yet, arrived in New York on a Greyhound bus and used a fake New Jersey ID to register where he was staying.

UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson Is Getting Little To No Sympathy For Being Gunned Down
UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was a father and a beloved family member who was gunned down in cold blood.
Unfortunately, many people showed very little sympathy since he was killed in broad daylight in Manhattan on Wednesday.
In the aftermath of the killing of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, there have been more people mocking his death because of what he did for a living.
“Thoughts and deductibles to the family. Unfortunately, my condolences are out-of-network.” “Sympathy denied. Greed is considered a pre-existing condition.”
The response to his death is also reminiscent of the reactions from some when President-elect Donald Trump was shot earlier this year at one of his rallies.
Healthcare in this country is a burden for so many folks, so when thousands see that the CEO of a major healthcare company was gunned down, they tend to side with the shooter.
