Social media has been lending support to Caitlyn Jenner on the back of some devastating news.
Caitlyn, an Olympic god medalist who competed as Bruce Jenner, took to Instagram over the weekend to announce the death of Esther Jenner. Caitlyn’s mom, who passed away at 96, was also close to granddaughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, who Caitlyn shares with ex-wife Kris Jenner.
“I am heartbroken to announce my mom passed away yesterday morning, peacefully,” Jenner wrote as the caption to a photo taken with Esther at her 95th birthday party.
“Losing a mother is unique in the sense that she is the only person that loved me my entire life. I will miss her tremendously. She was a few weeks shy of 97 and lived a full life. Love you mom.”
“I am so sorry for your loss. God bless your mom. Sending you hugs and prayers,” one follower wrote.
“So sorry for your loss my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time,” another commented.

“Sending my heartfelt condolences to you and your family Caitlyn,” someone also wrote. “I admire you and your integrity to stand up for all that you believe in and I will bet you got a lot of that from your sweet mom!”
The 73-year-old co-starred with Esther on their reality TV show “I Am Cait,” which ran between 2015-16.
Caitlyn had previously starred in “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” and, as mentioned above, is a former Olympic gold medalist.
TotalProSports would like to extend condolences to Jenner and family as they go through what must be a very trying time.
