An undercover police officer wearing a Grinch costume has carried out a drug raid in Lima, Peru. You read that correctly and will see it in action shortly.
Footage supplied by Peru’s national police agency showed an officer in green costume and dressed in Santa’s jacket running down a street in southern Lima with a sledgehammer slung over his shoulder.
A video released by police shows The Grinch in a Santa Claus suit searching the house and finding money and drugs.

The Dr. Suess character was seen breaking through a door with a sledgehammer in Lima, Peru before making arrests.

According to Col. Carlos Lopez Aedo, head of the Police Green Squadron, the unidentified officer dressed up participated in a Christmas activity prior to the police drug bust operation, making the police presence in the neighborhood go unnoticed.
“Using the ingenuity and cleverness of the Terna Group, we used the Grinch, after an activity for Christmas,” said Lopez Aedo.
In the latest drug bust, the authorities seized packages of cocaine hydrochloride and cocaine paste, as well as precision instruments such as scales and strainers.

“I hate Christmas and criminals,” the dancing Grinch said.

What Is The Grinch?
A Peruvian police officer dressed as “The Grinch” led a drug bust in Lima, the capital city.
The agent from the specialized Green Squadron was in disguise as the famous Dr. Seuss character as he led the operation targeting a drug trafficking gang in Lima.
Not everybody is educated on the Green Man, so you should know he was made famous as a fictional character from Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
His entire personality is rooted in being mean-spirited and ill-natured, all while trying to ruin Christmas for everybody who loves it.
The Grinch’s origin starts with him living on a mountain overlooking Whoville, a town of cheerful people who love Christmas.
He absolutely hates Christmas, so he decides to steal it.
However, he soon realized the error of his ways and returned everything to join the town for their Christmas feast.
