Sha’Carri Richardson is truly back to doing what she does best and the confidence is booming.
Richardson made an emphatic statement Friday night at the USA Track and Field championships, flying to a win in the women’s 100 at Hayward Field with a 10.82, finishing strong despite a slow start.
Her start actually happened before the race kicked off. As the camera went down the line to announce the runners, Richardson thrilled the crowd by snatching off her wig and displaying her braids underneath.
Following the win on Friday night, Richardson let her fans know that she’s all the way back from her doping violation.
“Now, I stand here with you again and I’m ready, mentally, physically, and emotionally,” Richardson said. “I’m here to say, ‘I’m not back, I’m better.'”
