Before anything, we should probably tell you that no one was harmed and everyone was able to escape the bus safely…
Which is incredible news when you consider the fact that this school bus was carrying members of Scott County High School’s football team moments before it was almost completely engulfed by flames on the side of the I-75 in Lexington, Kentucky.
The bus was one of three traveling home from a game against Fredrick Douglass High School in Lexington on Friday night. The Scott County School Board released a statement, saying the bus :had a malfunction and caught fire on the drive home from the game. They added, “everyone on boad is safe and unharmed, this includes all student athletes, coaches and the driver.”
