A female gymnastics star has lost her life after falling an estimated 200 feet. According to reports, Natalie Stichova, who hails from the Czech Republic, was tragically killed while attempting to take a selfie.
The gymnast, who was only 23 years old, had gone mountain climbing with friends in Germany when she fell to her death. Stichova is said to have been visiting the Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria, Germany, which inspired Disney’s ‘Sleeping Beauty.’
It’s understood that she stood close to the edge of the mountain to take the photo and fell, though her friend couldn’t say whether she slipped or the ground gave way beneath her.
“We will never find out whether she slipped or whether a piece of the rock edge broke off,” the friend told a Czech source.
Natalie Stichova visited the site with her boyfriend and another friend.
