Egypt’s Ministry Of Tourism Has Refuted MrBeast’s Claims
Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has since denied that MrBeast rented the pyramids, explaining that he got a permit to film outside of regular visiting hours.
The ministry noted that the filming did not disrupt public access to the area and that visitors were allowed even while the video was being shot.
MrBeast and his filming crew were supervised by archeologists to preserve the integrity of the site.
Egypt’s tourism ministry has urged news outlets to be careful and to verify information before disseminating anything that could prompt confusion and public unrest.
