There’s a viral video going around that shows a luxury car getting washed into the streets of Naples, Florida amid Hurricane Ian.
The owner, named Ernie, runs an Instagram page where they display a special collection of luxury vehicles. Ernie shared a photo via Instagram of the photo being washed out of the garage and onto the streets of Naples.
You can see a video of the flooded garage with the McLaren P1 and another vehicle beside it below.
Just two weeks ago, Ernie posted on the Instagram page (which has more than one million followers) that the McLaren P1 had just 300 miles on it. The McLaren P1 is a special sports car model that was released by the McLaren Automotive company.
Hurricane Ian is currently listed in Category 4, but it’s not far off from Category 5. On Thursday evening, Hurricane Ian reached extreme winds of 75 miles per hour, and it was heading into the direction of South Carolina.

Per Newsweek, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission warned residents of Florida they’re “likely to see” snakes, alligators and bears amid Hurricane Ian. On Wednesday, a viral video showed a shark swimming in Fort Myers near a resident’s home.
There was concern that the NFL would have to move the Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Kansas City Chiefs game from Raymond James Stadium to U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The NFL’s Minnesota Vikings play at U.S. Bank Stadium, but the venue is available Sunday since they’ll be playing the New Orleans Saints overseas in London, England. However, the Bucs announced Thursday that the Bucs-Chiefs game will be played at Raymond James Stadium as previously scheduled.
Residents of Florida are being advised to continue following the instructions of state officials and to continue listening for updates. Search and rescue efforts have begun in the state.
