McDonald’s made everyone’s day with a massive announcement ahead of the weekend, revealing that they are set to fashion the return of the Snack Wrap in 2025.
The fast food chain has plans to bring the fan-favorite back to its nationwide menu next year after nearly a decade.
The company’s U.S. president, Joe Erlinger, revealed as much to the folks at ‘Good Morning America’ on Thursday.
“The Snack Wrap will be back in 2025,” he said, “It has a cult following. I get so many emails into my inbox about this product.”
McDonald’s removed the Snack Wrap from its menus in 2016, though it was still available at some locations until 2020.

Social Media Couldn’t Handle The News McDonald’s Dropped On Them
The news came out to a remarkable reception on social media, which was not that surprising as the Snack Wrap was probably the best thing on the menu to many patrons. Of course, it isn’t likely to come back at the same price, but fans were still overjoyed.
“Don’t play with my feelings this better be true,” one said.
“Crying, screaming, throwing up,” the DoorDash account added.
“BRB telling everyone we know!“ another comment read.
“I have not stepped foot in a mcdonald’s since the snack wrap was retired. if this is real, you’ve gained back a customer,” someone claimed.
Unfortunately, Erlinger wouldn’t share the exact return date.
“It will be back in 2025,” he vowed. “I’m not going to tell you exactly when in 2025 for competitive reasons.”
Doesn’t make sense, but whatever. At least we know it’s coming back.
