Luigi Mangione is very well-liked, for a m-rder suspect.
The 26-year-old showed up in court this Monday following his arrest for the k-lling of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson earlier this month and apparently made a statement with his outfit.
Mangione was seen wearing a burgundy sweater over a white dress shirt, as well as grey slacks and orange shoes.
It was initially believed that he was wearing a $1,000 Maison Margiela sweater, but subsequent findings indicated he had put on a Merino crewneck sweater from Nordstrom which goes for $89.50 and was on sale for $62.65.

Meanwhile, Mangione pleaded not guilty to all of the charges read to him.
His lawyer, Karen Agnifilio, argued that her client was being treated like “political fodder” instead of a defendant, given the extra-heavy security and the presence of New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
