Brian Johnson, known as “Liver King” has been hit with a $25 million class-action lawsuit following his embarrassing confession detailing steroid use.
The bodybuilder previously lived by claims of his physique being the result of ingesting raw animal liver, bone marrow, and blood. But he was recently exposed in a YouTube video by a rival bodybuilder who found out the 45-year-old was actually receiving steroids worth up to $11,000 every month and was selling a lie.
Liver King had continuously denied using steroids but would admit to it after the video, noting that the report was true and that he still receives a small dose of testosterone every week.
Liver King’s Problems Are Mounting
Johnson, who promotes his “Nine Ancestral Tenets” lifestyle, which basically means eating raw liver, spleen, hearts, kidneys, pancreas, and testicles, has since been taken to task by New York attorney Christopher Altomare, according to a report from the New York Post.
Altomare has sued both of Liver King’s companies, Ancestral Supplements, LLC, and The Fittest Ever, LLC, claiming that Johnson falsely advertised products while encouraging a “dangerous and life-threatening diet,” which even got customers very sick.
“Liver King persuaded millions of consumers to adhere to, or abide by, the Eat Tenet by repeatedly making representations to consumers that his near-perfect physique, and optimal health, were solely attributable to his adoption of the Ancestral Tenets, predominantly the Eat Tenet,” the lawsuit reads.

The lawyer added that, had he and others known Liver King was a steroid user, they would have never purchased the latter’s products.
Despite the confession, Liver King insists his companies are still very profitable, while he remains adamant about the diet he preached before being exposed.
“The Liver King brand has had nothing to do with my business success,” he said in a video. “My companies were already kicking a**, already successful before the Liver King public figure, growing at 50% year over year and still growing at the same pace after.”
“I fully own that I f****d up. All I can do is take extreme ownership right now, be better and lead myself to a better life as a better human.”
