When it comes to sporting events, we expect to see fans behaving badly in the stands. It happens in the NBA, NFL, MLB, Soccer, and the NHL.
One place we do not expect to see it is at The Kentucky Derby.
Over the weekend at Churchill Downs, thousands of people descended upon Louisville, Kentucky for the Kentucky Derby dressed in their best outfits. Naturally, we expect people to be on their best behavior.
That was not the case as a fight broke out showing one guy with a bloody eye fighting one guy, but getting punched in the face by another one.
As one guy struggled to get on his feet while being held down, a woman in Yellow became enraged and took a swing and kick at him.
The guy in pink taunted her by pointing to his chin as she tried to get more shots at him while screaming “f–k you,’ and “I f–king hate you.’

It makes you wonder whether they know each other. That was certainly an awkward ride home.
No word on if all parties were thrown out or if anybody was arrested.
As far as the race, Mage took home the 149th running of the Kentucky Derby Saturday at Churchill Downs in Louisville, winning the race at 15-1 odds.
The race did not come without controversy. Seven horses died in the week leading up to the race, two of them in the Derby undercard.
The next leg of the Triple Crown, the Preakness Stakes, is scheduled for May 20 in Baltimore.
