IShowSpeed pulled off a pretty daring stunt this week as he put his life at risk to perform a backflip on a famous landmark some people would be afraid to even get close to.
The YouTuber, who is famous for his physical feats, took off on a tour of South America earlier this week and made a stop in Guatemala after kicking things off in Colombia.
He recorded himself doing a backflip on a large hand-shaped sculpture protruding over a cliff in a national park.
After getting onto the sculpture, referred to as “The Hand of God,” the 19-year-old admitted he was probably getting in over his head.
“Okay, this is very dangerous,” he said. “I am about to do a backflip off The Hand of God. If I fall, it’s over with.”
Fortunately, the flip was perfect, causing him to shout, “Let’s go, let’s go!”

Everyone Was Afraid For IShowSpeed
IShowSpeed’s latest feat has gone viral, drawing over 6 million views.
It also attracted lots of comments, with users expressing concern.
“Bro needs to know that , their is only 1 life line in this game,” one comment read.
“Someone needs to tell bro there’s no respawn button,” someone wrote.
“You have to stop risking your life for these reels bro,” another advised.
“Now this will only promote other stupid creators to risk their lives for views,” someone else claimed.
IShowSpeed is quite skilled at the backflip and is actually known for it. Last October, he tried setting a record for the most somersaults in a day but wasn’t able to, although he completed 660 in around 19 hours.
Of course, pulling off a backflip on a flat surface is nothing like doing so on an overhanging sculpture where any mistake can cause you to fall off.
Still, he was unlikely to plunge to his death as there’s a net right below the sculpture that’s shown in another angle in the clip below:
