A warmup video from German sprinter Alica Schmidt has gotten the internet to perk up.
Alica is already one of the most popular athletes on social media, having garnered 3.5 million followers on Instagram and an additional 1.1 million on TikTok. And it’s no wonder, given some of her posts.
Having gotten branded as the “world’s sexiest athlete,” Alica’s social media profiles are filled with alluring photos and videos. But she’s also a real athletic talent and has been winning track medals in Europe.
“I do not know why I got this title,” she told The Sun about the nickname back in 2021. “Sport comes clearly first There are thousands of girls on Instagram who look good and still do not have as many fans.”
The pressure doesn’t seem to have gotten to the sprinter, though. And, having taken to the track for some training this week, she’s posted a short warmup video which is pretty impressive. Check it out right below:

Alica must be used to going viral by now as her warmups and races get millions of views when they go up on TikTok.
