Lamar Jackson is a lot of things, but calling him homophobic is not one of them.
On Sunday, Lamar Jackson tallied 254 passing yards and a team-high 89 rushing yards. However, the team could not stop Trevor Lawrence as he led Jacksonville to a touchdown and game-winning two-point conversion with 14 seconds remaining.
After the game, a Twitter user said the Ravens should “let Lamar walk and spend that money on a well-rounded team.” Jackson responded back in a vulgar way by telling that fan to ‘eat a d–k.’
When ESPN took notice of the post, they phrased it as Jackson using a homophobic slur.

Was his response immature? Sure. Did it come close to being homophobic? Not even close.
The quarterback had 254 yards passing and 89 yards rushing in the loss to the Jaguars. The Ravens allowed 18 points in the fourth quarter and couldn’t make a stop with the game on the line. The 2019 MVP has carried Baltimore to a 7-4 start and that’s with the team blowing huge leads in the fourth quarter of those four losses. They could very well be undefeated if the defense held up.
