This is the stuff legends right here. Calling your number in roulette is one of those tales that’ll follow you around forever, no matter how famous you may be.
Just look at Peyton Manning, who’s still getting praise from Pat McAfee for once telling his punter to put his money on number 18 before walking away as it hit. McAfee recently re-told the story during his appearance on the ManningCast this past season.
Well, it looks like Peyton isn’t the only one calling his shot at the roulette table these days.
Canadian rapper Drake was chilling in the comfort of his own home, playing some roulette, when a friend’s camera caught him calling his shot during a $200,000 spin. In the video, which Drake originally released on his Instagram account, you can hear Drake calling number “8” before watching it hit and celebrating accordingly.

While Drake is said to have had $200k on the line in that one spin, no word exactly how much of that he had on the number 8. But let’s just assume that all $200,000 was on that one number; that would have netted him a whopping $7-million, at 35-to-1 odds.
That’s an insane payday for most of us, but probably just some additional chunk change for the four-time Grammy winner.
