NFL players aren’t exempt from brutal injuries just because it is the preseason. We found that out on Thursday night.
Seahawks wide receiver Cade Johnson suffered a concussion during their 24-13 preseason-opening victory over the Minnesota Vikings at Lumen Field in Seattle and he had to be transported to Harborview Medical Center at halftime as a precaution.
Luckily, he ended up being fine and would soon be released from the hospital.
He would soon take to social media and thank everyone for their support.
“Thanks for all the Prayers,” Johnson tweeted.
Johnson was targeted twice in the preseason game on Thursday, but did not make a catch. He had one carry for two yards.

This offseason, he signed a one-year, $870,000 deal with Seattle.
In the 24-13 win, Drew Lock went 17-of-24 for 191 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Nick Mullens went 14-of-20 for 139 yards and a touchdown for the Vikings.
