NASCAR racecar driver Bubba Wallace looks to have a future in comedy as he’s gotten fans laughing at Ryan Blaney on the back of his win.
Blaney ended a winless streak of 59 races with a victory at the Coca-Cola 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Monday, taking his win total to eight. Wallace claims to have called Blaney to congratulate him but the latter didn’t pick up the phone. So he made a Cameo video starring Daniel Suarez, Landon Cassill, Kenny Wallace, and Sam Mayer, who all congratulated the 29-year-old for winning a “marathon.”
Turns out they had no idea they were congratulating him on the Coca-Cola 600 win.
“Tried calling @Blaney to congratulate him on his win this weekend,” Wallace tweeted. “He didn’t answer so I hired some familiar faces on Cameo to UNKNOWINGLY help me congratulate him on his ‘marathon’ instead.”

Bubba placed fourth in the rain-delayed contest.
The victory was an important one for both Blaney and car owner Roger Penske. It was the first time that Team Penske won the Indianapolis 500 and Coca-Cola 600 in the same year. Blaney’s win came on the day after Team Penske won the Indy 500, with Josef Newgarden in the driver’s seat.
