This comes after Snell had declined his $21.5 million qualifying offer from the Giants. Snell and the Dodgers agreed to a multi-year contract. Snell will be a Dodger for the next five years of his career. The multi-year deal had come at the perfect time for the pitcher.
The 31-year-old will be in Dodger Blue for the next five years. Snell never hesitated as he immediately took the opportunity. The Dodgers offered Snell $182 million for five years. MLB insider Jeff Passan was one of the first to report the news. The physical contract is still pending, but the news has been confirmed per multiple reports.
