Adam Schefter of ESPN is pissed off today.
The ESPN NFL insider finally got fed up with fake accounts spreading misinformation and finally decided to speak on it.
It all started when a fake Schefter account that has the username @0Gstank tweeted a false report about Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper being one of several names on Jeffrey Epstein’s client list.
The real Schefter jumped in the comments and made sure everybody knew it was false while calling out X.
“This is completely false. X needs to respond to defamatory untrue statements like this,” he tweeted.
The account has since been deleted.

Schefter isn’t wrong on his account, but with troll accounts having the ability to change their name and buy blue check marks, these type of things will continue to happen.
Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper is one of the NFL’s worst, evidenced by drafting Bryce Young over C.J. Stroud and firing Frank Reich.
He is disliked by fans but he shouldn’t be lied about for jokes. Unfortunately for the person who did this, they will just create another account and do something again that will go viral and nothing will be done about it aside from a deleted account.
