This is not good news for the New York Jets and their fans.
On the very first offensive drive of his Jets debut, star quarterback and prized offseason acquisition Aaron Rodgers was injury and forced to leave the game.
Rodgers had to be helped to the sideline and was eventually carted to the locker room.
He went for x-rays to determine the severity of the injury and was considered questionable to return.
But after photos surfaced of Rodgers leaving the x-ray room with a boot on his foot, I think it’s fair to assume he’s done for this game…and likely at least a few more after that.

Despite the loss of their starting quarterback, the Jets are still hanging in there against the Bills on Monday Night Football. It’s Zach Wilson’s show from here on it. It would be quite the redemption story if he could pull this one off in relief of A-Rod.
