The daughter of boxing heavyweight Floyd Mayweather could potentially face up to 20 years in prison for her alleged involvement in the stabbing of NBA YoungBoy’s baby mama, Lapattra Jacobs.
Back in 2020, Yaya Mayweather and Jacobs got into a heated altercation involving YoungBoy, with whom Yaya also shares a child. As a result, Lapattra suffered severe injuries. Yaya was hit with an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge following the incident.
Jacobs took to social media to share a few videos of the injuries she sustained during her alleged scuffle with Yaya.
The trial is set to begin February 2022, according to the Neighborhood Talk.

This past January, Mayweather and Youngboy had their first child together, which became his seventh child overall. Before the birth of their son, the couple called it quits.
Youngboy is currently behind bars himself as his bond was denied because he is considered too dangerous to be released following his multiple charges of gun possession in Louisiana, according to Complex.
“[YoungBoy] is a danger to the community, [and] no condition or combination of conditions will reasonably assure the safety of any other person and the community,” the court documents read.
