Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia have harbored much animosity since their amateur days. On April 20, the two teenage fighters will square off in their first professional match after a series that ended with a 3-3 score. Despite doubts about his eligibility, Garcia will challenge Haney for the latter’s WBC Super lightweight championship.
The bout takes place in Brooklyn, New York’s Barclays Center, and is televised globally on DAZN.
Ryan Gracia vs. Devin Haney weigh-ins will take place on April 19 and will be featured on DAZN and Social Media at around 2:00 p.m. ET. The post-fight press conference will take place on April 21.

Haney is making his first defense of the WBC title in this Brooklyn fight. He defeated Regis Prograis with a clinic in December, only one month after relinquishing the undisputed lightweight titles.
The winner, Garcia, is unblemished going into Saturday’s main event. In his only defeat as a professional, Garcia was stopped by a body shot sustained by Gervonta Davis a year prior. But Garcia made a comeback in December, defeating Oscar Duarte.
